A Few Birthday Pictures

Posted in feelings, pictures on 26 September 2007 by R.Pad

My birthday was lots of fun. I’ll write more about it later–have lots of pics to edit and caption. Here are some notes:

  • Rannie got me an outstanding birthday cake
  • Anna was way hotter than any of the girls at Hooter’s
  • 3 Mile is an excellent level of spiciness

“See what’s become of me,
While I looked around for my possibilities.”

That’s from “Hazy Shade of Winter”, which is a Simon & Garfunkel song that most people think is by The Bangles. (To be fair, their cover was pretty cool.)

Anyway, things on the job front are moving at a frustrating pace. There are four opportunities that I’m looking at right now. I like my chances for three of them. Unfortunately, people are going on two-week vacations, approved budgets are getting held up, directions are being reassessed, etc. I’m not really any closer to a job than I was at the beginning of the week and my head feels like it’s going to explode.

Buy this surf watch (or something like it) as a Christmas present for your brother.

I love hand dryers like this one. They’re pretty common in Tokyo. More importantly, they actually work extremely well–unlike the crap hand dryers in America. It’s excellent that these are coming to the US. I wonder how much they’ll cost.

Oh yeah, they save trees too!

My dream home will have these in the kitchen and every bathroom (along with Toto bidets, naturally).

This really sucked. I can’t believe that so many people told me it was good. What’s wrong with you?

On the plus side, at least I paid less than $3 for it and I can watch it with Thai dubbing for a (possibly) better experience.
